The human tendency is to shield ourselves against vulnerability, since being vulnerable implies losing control, risking rejection, exposing oneself to being hurt, misunderstood, betrayed. And yet, as Brené Brouwn points out, “vulnerability is the core, the heart, the center of meaningful human experiences”. Embracing vulnerability leads to greater levels of lifegiving intimacy, empathy and compassion for all.
The workshop includes moments of input, silent reflection, sharing in groups, and guided contemplative practice.
